Summer Showers 1,2,3!

Unfortunately, I will not be recieving the blogger of the year award.  Life gets busy, I get behind, then overwhelmed.  So here I go catching up with blogs that I had planned to do!
Lets just say I had a very busy summer, especially when it came to throwing baby showers!  3 of my best friends were pregnant at the same time, so of course it was the summer of showers!  We started with a "sprinkle" for Brooke's baby #2, and had a fun time celebrating this special friend. (Brooke's in the striped dress !)

 Welcome to our group Joel!

 Such a sweet boy!

Now, on to #2.  Expecting baby #1, Andrea's shower was at Reata.  Great food, great fun, and especially great friends!  P.s. that's my God-son in there!

We ordered the best cupcakes from Bluebonnet Bakery!

When Andrea went into labor, I received a call at 5:00am.  I was so excited that I couldn't sleep, so Kirk and I got up and got ready for a very long day!  She was sent home to get a little further along, so we were there to support her and do anything we could to make her comfortable!  Major was helping too!
Glad I caught her with a smile in between contractions!
Major was tired of helping, so he opted for the comfortable chest of Andrea's Mother-in-law Lisa.  He's so spoiled!

We had quite the support group in the waiting room while awaiting the arrival of Tap.  4 people aren't even in the picture! P.s. its the middle of the night.... like 2 am.
May I introduce my God-son Tap (its his initials!) We were at the hospital for over 12 hours waiting on him! Andrea was in labor for a total of 30 hours ".....she's my hero, and a true ROCKSTAR!!!

We all went home, slept a bit, showered, and Brandee and I came back to see them! Unfortunately Andrea did not get any sleep during that time.  Like how I crawled into bed with her?  I told her to move over...I'm such a bratty "little sister" to her!

Kirk's first time holding his God-son. So sweet.

About a week later, we my mom and I went to help Andrea for the day.  We let her sleep in between feedings, tried to run laundry, wash bottles, etc.  Look how good my mom is at multi-tasking!

He looks so comfy.  That's probably one of my favorite shoulders too, I spent many a day/night on it as well...about 30 years ago!

On to #3.  This was the 3rd shower "sprinkle" of the summer, and for baby #3 for Jennifer!

This was my favorite gift...and of course from ME!  I can't wait to see Libby in it this summer!  Look at Jen's niece's face, too cute!

We all have issue's with cupcakes.  We are aware and find comfort that we all share the same addiction!
I was working the day Jen had Libby, but I got to the hospital as soon as I could!
Such a tiny little precious package!
I took these terrible pictures by myself with my iphone because mom and dad were exhausted and sleeping.  See Alan in the back, sleeping propped on his hand....I couldn't disrupt him to take a picture!  However, the crying baby woke him up!
This was the first attempt, better and no crying!

Well, after a fun summer of showers, these sweet babies are officially members of our crazy group!
They're sitting according to age. Joel, Tap, and the ever smiling Libby!
